As we're entering the season of summer i've been collecting all the little things i like to do and i will list some of them to you, hope you get something out of this! Collecting DVD's -  2 months ago i came across my old "strawberry shortcake" DVD I used to watch EVERY. SINGLE. DAY as a kid and realised how fun it is to just grab your dvd, put it on and have the FULL movie experience. That's why not so long ago I started hunting for DVD's of my favorite movies at the nearest thrift shop. Right now, my modest collection consists of 7 dvd's that I absolutely adore. I cannot describe you the demented reaction I had when i saw "The Virgin Suicides" DVD hiding between hundreds of other films. Palo Alto directed by Gia Coppola, commentary by Célia “Palo Alto," directed by Gia Coppola, is a coming-of-age drama based on a collection of short stories by James Franco. Released in 2013, the film offers an intimate and atmospheric portrayal of the lives of a group of teenagers living in the suburban town of Palo Alto. I personally think that one of the film's strongest aspects is its ability to capture the raw and complex emotions that adolescents experience. Gia Coppola manages to explore into the inner workings of her characters, exploring their hopes, dreams, insecurities, and vulnerabilities. Through their interconnected stories, she creates a genuine and relatable portrayal of teenage life. The film's cinematography and soundtrack is very interesting to me. The use of natural lighting and long takes creates an immersive experience, allowing the audience to become intimately involved in the characters lives. Tuesday, may 16, 2023, 9:12PM Bonjour blog! It's may, for some of you this may not look like the end of the school year yet but for all the french students here WE ARE IN THE TRENCHES. This is my year of "terminale", so my "senior year" as the americans would say. The year flew by so fast i'm saying goodbye to the high school life and it's all hitting me now. I didn't even appreciate the end of this school year because i had to do so many things in a short span of time. School work has been drowning me and procrastination is my worst enemy. I t’s may 8th 2023, 23:56 as i’m writing this. In a few minutes i’ll no longer be 17. 17 was like the perfect middle, not the youngest but not old. 17 was the beginning of the end of my young years.   It’s now midnight, it’s may 9th of 2023 and i’m officially 18 years old. I feel like there should be some sort of dramatic thing happening right now to illustrate this new transition in my life.   But nothing i’m just 18, this age is just the allegory of stress and pressure to me.   18 means i’m no longer a kid and i am taken seriously like i wasn’t in precedent years. I am now required to uphold my civic responsibility and become an active participant in democratic society. I will have politic debates with my friends and argue with them while having an “apéro”. I will have to sign every single one of my important documents with my childlike signature that i need to refine. I will become “has-been” and my little cousin Sandra will make fun of me in the same way i made fun of...
